BLM conducting a Prescribed Burn in Cibola County

Santa Fe National Forest Gallina WUI Prescribed Burn UPDATE
Fire managers have stopped prescribed burning for today and for this week within the Gallina Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) project area. Effective Immediately Santa Fe County Open Burn Restrictions
The Santa Fe County Fire Department, through adoption by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) issued Ordinance 2012- 6, an emergency ordinance declaring hazardous fire conditions and imposing restrictions on open fires, smoking and other ignition sources. Curry County Enacts Burn Ban as of 3/15/2012
The Curry County, NM Commission has enacted a burn ban on all unincorporated (non-municipal, non-federal) land throughout the county. The County’s resolution delaring the restriction can be found here: Fire Restriction Resolution The resolution bans all open fires.
